A SCOUT group celebrated its 90th anniversary with London's youth ambassador and members old and new.

The 15th Bromley Scout Group held the event at St Michael's Hall, in Nightingale Lane, Bromley last Saturday.

Bromley and Bexley London Assembly Member and Ambassador for Youth, James Cleverly, gave a speech which was followed by an awards presentation to the scouts by county and district commissioners.

The scouts also took part in a royal tournament style gun carriage cart race over an obstacle course. Group chairman of 15th Bromley Scouts Paul Gunn, said: "Scouting is more relevant now than it ever had been over the past 90 years because it is giving today's young people the opportunity to experience things they otherwise might not have the opportunity to do.
