There will be plenty of jingle bell rock at The Beaverwood Club in Chislehurst next week as Rollin Stoned blast out a Christmas special.
Channelling the energy of Mick Jagger and co, they will rattle through classics such as Brown Sugar, Paint It Black and Street Fighting Man at the venue in Beaverwood Road.
Endorsed by Keith Richards’ mother as “outstanding”, the band put on the tightest of trousers to play hit after hit on an array of vintage instruments.
Regarded as the nearest thing to the real article, The Rolling Stones paid tribute to the tribute act’s skill and talent by booking them for the band’s birthday.
From Jagger’s strut to Richards’ howling guitar and Charlie Watts’ cool rhythms, Rollin Stoned provide a journey from the 1960s to the present day.
Tickets for the show, on Thursday, cost £12 in advance and £13 on the door. Doors open at 7.30pm, visit thebeaverwoodclub.co.uk.
