Matthew Kershaw has been replaced as trust special administrator for South London Healthcare NHS Trust by Caroline Taylor.

Mrs Taylor was previously chief executive of the North Central London cluster of NHS Primary Care Trusts, and will act as the administrator until the trust is dissolved.

She has worked in the NHS for more than 30 years and has 16 years experience as a chief executive before her previous role.

She said: ““I am delighted to have been appointed as the trust special administrator for South London Healthcare NHS Trust and implementation director for the three-year programme of change across South East London.

“This is a very exciting role and I look forward to playing my part in delivering high quality, sustainable health services for our communities for the future.”

Mr Kershaw became chief executive at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals on Monday.
