Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire at a recycling centre on Waldo Road in Bromley yesterday evening.

Ten tonnes of domestic rubbish was destroyed by the fire and there were no reports of any injuries.

The Brigade was called at 6.53pm and the fire was under control at 9.42pm. Fire crews from Bromley, Beckenham and Sidcup fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
