AN ARTIST who was highly commended by Prince Charles has a new exhibition on show.

Jennifer Kirby, of Kings Avenue, Bromley, who was presented with a certificate by the Prince of Wales in June for her work, has a new display at the Ripley Arts Centre, in Sundridge Avenue, Bromley.

The etchings will be on show until October 23.

Mother-of-two Mrs Kirby said: "I always have a sketchbook with me. I'm a compulsive scribbler wherever I go. I sketch people undercover. I take inspiration from Dartmoor, ruined hilltop villages and other landscapes."

The exhibition is free and open 9am to 3pm weekdays. Please ring 020 8464 5816 prior to viewing.
