A BUDDING popstar has seen a wish come true with the launch of her very own Christmas single.
Bianca Nicholas, 19, from Bromley, launches her song A Christmas Wish on next Monday and has even performed with Will Young thanks to charity Starlight Children's Foundation.
The charity, that grants wishes for seriously and terminally-ill children, helped Miss Nicholas, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, to fulfil her dream of becoming a pop star. All proceeds from the sale of her song will go to the Starlight Children's Foundation.
Starlight took Miss Nicholas to a top recording studio in London to give her her first taste of what it would be like to be a real recording artist and organised several star-studded events for her to perform in. She added: "Not only is singing something I have loved to do for as long as I can remember, my consultants say it could well be the reason I have kept so healthy." The single is priced at £2.99 or 79p per download and is available at HMV and other major retailers or iTunes as well as online at www.starlight.org.uk/christmaswishes.
