AN ART collective whose talents have caught the attention of a top Dubai advertising agency are exhibiting their work next month.

Tiptoe Collective, a group of three art graduates from Bromley, create Pop Art style large scale mural illustrations and were recently commissioned for thousands of pounds to decorate a large wall in the warehouse-converted offices of ad agency Mojo.

Now Ian Caulkett, Mark Whittle, both 25, and Jame Nicholls, 26, all from Bromley Common, are gearing up to open their first exhibition as a collective in Staffordshire.

Mr Caulkett, who met his two colleagues at Norwich School of Art and Design where they all studied Graphic Design, said: "We all work in the creative industry and after meeting at University, it was always our vision to get together.

"We started off with a few small commissions like record covers and national newspapers and then started to get larger scale work.

"We came up with our name as a lot of our work is on large installations so a lot of the time we find ourselves on our tiptoes or up on ladders."

After working with British ad agency AMV BBDO, designing their Christmas window, Tiptoe Collective were hired by Mojo Interactive and were flown out for a week to complete the work.

Mr Caulkett, who works as a freelance creative at a studio in Bourne Road, Bromley, said: "At first we centred the piece around a big oil rig because Dubai is famous for its oil but the agency told us we could go crazy so we added more and more stuff to it. Eventually we included all kinds of things like mermaids, butterflies and a mish mash of everything."

An exhibition, showcasing their individual artwork as well as some live installations will open in early December at The Light in High St, Tutbury, Staffordshire.
