24-year-old man arrested

Police are still appealing for witnesses and information after a taxi driver was killed in a crash in Chislehurst.

Kevin Gilby, 52, from Bexley, died at the scene after his taxi was in collision with a car on Friday, June 5.

The driver of the car, a man aged 24, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has been released on police bail until August.

The crash happened in Royal Parade, at the junction with Bromley Road, at about 3.30am.
