FOURTEEN people were arrested during a police operation into large scale cannabis dealing.

Officers from the Met's Special Intelligence Section (SIS) and teams of borough police targeted 35 addresses in Bromley, London, Kent, Surrey and Thames Valley, last Thursday. The gang are believed to be part of an organised criminal group involved in the importation, storage and distribution of large quantities of cannabis.

Police said they were a 'highly organised group' and had been operating a 'sophisticated' multi million pound industry, using a fleet of delivery vans to move the drugs throughout London and the Home Counties.

Officers seized two money-counting machines, approximately £1 million in cash, and more than 50 kilos of cannabis.
