Two men reportedly broke into a house in Sydenham, stealing pear drop earrings and a Swarovski crystal broach.

The burglary took place at 5.40pm on January 14 in Woodsyre, Sydenham Hill.

Among the items stolen were Swarovski crystal dragonfly broach, a jewellery box and pearl drop earrings and a necklace.

CCTV images have been released of two suspects.

Suspect one is described as a white male, age 40-50 years, 5ft 7inches, black untidy hair grey sides, blue jeans, black jacket and black trainers.

Suspect two is described as a male wearing a dark coloured tracksuit with the hood up - he was described as ‘chubby’.

It is believed to be linked to an attempted burglary at a property nearby.

No arrests have been made, while police continue their enquiries.
