Police hunt sex attacker

POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault.

POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault.

Officers want to identify the white man, aged in his early 20s, who followed a 36-year-old woman jogger before attacking her in Beckenham Place Park.

The incident happened at around 6pm on April 11 as she ran past him while he was sitting on a bench.

Police have warned women to be vigilant in parks across the borough and to contact them if they see anything suspicious.

The suspect, pictured, is of medium build approximately 5ft 6ins tall. He has short dark hair and was wearing a grey or white top and dark trousers.
