Police hunt knifepoint robbers

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after armed robbers threatened petrol station staff with a knife. Two men were involved in the robbery at the Jet petrol station, Croydon Road, Penge.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after armed robbers threatened petrol station staff with a knife.

Two men were involved in the robbery at the Jet petrol station, Croydon Road, Penge.

One man waited outside while his accomplice, a 5ft 9ins black man with a goatee beard, entered the shop and produced a knife.

He then jumped over the counter and stole around £300 in cash.
