Police in Bromley have seized more than £20,000 and a quantity of Class A and Class B drugs after a vehicle stop.

Officers on routine patrol in Sevenoaks Road, Pratts Bottom at 1.30pm on September 26 observed a vehicle acting suspiciously in the area and stopped it.

A search uncovered drugs, and the driver was arrested.

More drugs were then found secreted in the suspect’s underpants when he was searched at the police station.

Approximately £20,000 cash was discovered when the suspect’s home address was searched and he was further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs and money laundering.

The 26-year-old man has been bailed until a date in late November, pending further enquiries.
