Penge shooting victim formally identified as Khadar Hussein

The 19-year-old man shot dead in Penge on Wednesday has been named locally as Khadar Hussein.
Tributes have been flooding social networking sites after he suffered a gunshot wound to the head on Wednesday, and died in hospital yesterday morning.
Friends took to Twitter to pay tribute to Khadar, with @EllieMelhuishx saying: “Madness after madness. RIP Kadar, another life taken too soon. Thoughts are with all the family xxx”
Another friend, @J_Holdaway, said: “On a day like today all you can do is reminisce on the good times and hold on to the memories. RIP Kadar.”
It is thought the victim’s friends will gather to pay their respects today at Anerley Town Hall, in Anerley Road, from 4pm.
A murder investigation has now been launched by police, though there have been no arrests.
