A 28-year-old Penge man has been charged with firearms offences.

Arjuna Pookraj, of Mosslea Road, appeared in custody at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court yesterday (September 18). He was charged with possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of a silencer.

He was remanded in custody to appear at the Inner London Crown Court on 2 October.

A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of theft and money laundering has been bailed until a date in late November. A 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm has been bailed until a date in late October. A 66-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm has been bailed until a date in late October.
