A passenger was left “distressed” after a man performed an indecent act in front of her on board a train from Orpington to London Victoria.

British Transport Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which occurred ar around 6.30pm on Monday, June 3.

It is believed the man boarded the train at Petts Wood, before leaving when the train reached Bromley South station.

Pc Alexandra O’Leary said: “I am appealing for anyone with information abou the incident to come forward. Do you recognise the man pictured? Are you the man himself? If so, please talk to us as you may have information crucial to our investigation.

“The incident left the woman understandably distressed by what took place. Everyone should be able to travel on the network without fear, and we will do all in our power to catch the man responsible.”
