A Parkinson’s disease sufferer is taking part in an unique challenge to raise money for charity.

Danny Lavender, 50, from Orpington, will ring the Prince Harry Jubilee Bell for approximately six hours on Sunday, chiming it once for every Londoner who has Parkinson’s.

He said: “Let’s raise a pound for every Parkinson’s patient in London and together we can raise awareness to give hope to finding a cure for this destructive condition.”

The event, at St James’ Church in Garlick Hill, London, will raise money for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.
