Exotic meats and European treats will be on offer at a global market in Bromley this month.


Tastes from around the world will arrive in Bromley this month as an award-winning continental market arrives in the town centre.

From June 27 shoppers will have the chance to sample goods from every corner of the world, including biscotti from Italy, bratwurst sausages from Germany and moussaka from Greece.

Exotic meats will also be offer, including ostrich, impala, crocodile and wild boar.

But it’s not just food that will be filling Bromley High Street, there will also be Finnish clothing made from reindeer hides - as well as an array of plants and shrubs from the Netherlands.

A spokesman for Market Place, organisers of the global themed event, said: “Our traders shall be offering Bromley a selection of flavours from all across the globe. It shall definitely be the place to be.”

The market will run from Thursday, June 27 to Sunday, June 30. Stalls will be open from 9am to 5.30pm from Thursday to Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
