Record-breaking Bromley athlete Dina Asher-Smith has welcomed the decision to award free leisure passes to all Team Bromley participants in the 2016 London Youth Games.
The British record-holder at 100 metres and 200 metres made a special visit to Bromley’s victorious female cross country team to congratulate them on their victory in the first event of the 2016 campaign, as Team Bromley sponsors Mytime Active announced their decision to keep the free annual passes scheme running for at least another year.
Asher-Smith said: “I wanted to personally congratulate all the girls who won such a great victory.
“I think that giving all Team Bromley members a free pass to Mytime Active sport facilities for a year is a great help and incentive for them to keep their training and fitness up.”
Partnerships Manager Debra Weekes said: “We are so grateful to Dina for coming along to congratulate the girls cross country team and hope that her inspiration combined with a free Mytime Active leisure centre pass will spur them on to even greater achievements in the future.”
