Orpington bypass closed after Ford Focus and lorry collide

A collision between a grey Ford Focus and a lorry has closed the Orpington bypass.

The incident, which happened at around 12.15pm this afternoon, is thought to have taken place on the hard shoulder of the A224 between junction four of the M25 and Hewitts Roundabout.

Emergency services were called to the scene, where the road remains closed while Kent Police investigate the incident.
