A senior figure at The Glades shopping centre has picked up a prestigious industry award despite only joining the role a year ago.

Lee Holland picked up the operations manager of the year gong at the 2017 Septre Awards, having joined the role at the Bromley shopping centre in June last year.

Mr Holland said: “This is a phenomenal achievement in my career and for the team at The Glades too. We all work incredibly hard to make sure the centre runs to the highest standards and it’s certainly paid off. To be recognised by the Sceptre Awards is a fantastic seal of approval and I’m truly honoured.”

Praise came from on high for the award-winner, with general manager at the shopping centre, Kate Miller, saying: “If anyone deserves this award, its Lee. He’s made a fantastic impact in such a short amount of time and does a remarkable job in making sure everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork every single day – we’re incredibly proud of him. Huge congratulations to Lee from all of us here at The Glades.”
