Nine-year-old boy taken to hospital in air ambulance after being hit by car in Petts Wood

The driver remained on scene

A nine-year-old boy is believed to be in a stable condition after he was hit by a car yesterday evening in Petts Wood.

Met Police rushed to Station Square yesterday at around 6pm, along with London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance.

A spokesperson from Met Police said: “The boy was taken to hospital, his injuries are serious but are not believed to be life threatening.

“The driver of the car remained on scene and was not arrested.”
