A FATHER-of-seven accused of being the night stalker is due to appear in court charged with the rape of several elderly women.
A FATHER-of-seven accused of being the 'night stalker' is due to appear in court charged with the rape of several elderly women.
Delroy Grant, 52, of Brockley Mews, is due to appear at the Inner London Crown Court, on Friday, April 30, accused of being the night stalker, who preyed on pensioners across south east London.
Amongst other offences, he is charged with the rape of an 88-year-old woman in Orpington in August 1999, the indecent assault of a 71-year-old woman in Beckenham in June 1999 and three burglaries between 1999 and 2004 in Orpington, Beckenham and Bromley.
He is also charged with ten burglaries and one burglary with intent to rape.
Police teams launched a massive hunt for the night stalker, under the name Operation Minstead, after more than 100 burglaries and sexual offences across south east London, including Sidcup and Bromley.
