Alfonso Pullara weighed seven pounds when he was born in Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, at 12.56am on New Year's Day.

He is the first child of Luisa Pullara, 28, from Beckenham, and boyfriend Christopher Smith, 24, from West Wickham.

"He was born with a lot of hair and already has a styled haircut of spiky hair. It's very cute."

On her 40-hour labour, the publishing sales rep said: "It was the most fantastic amazing ordeal of my life.
