Bromley Community Radio will launch later this month
Bromley is to get a new radio station.
Bromley Community Radio will be launched on Thursday, March 26, and will be looking to promote local talent, businesses and community groups.
John Downie, director of performing arts charity SABA, which runs the station, said: “The ethos of our station is to provide a platform for local communities to gain support, and we will be introducing ways to help local projects raise their profile.
“We are not here to try to compete with the major commercial radio stations.”
To listen, go to www.youthdigitalnetwork.com and download the Bromley Community Radio app – there are test broadcasts happening already.
Everyone is welcome at the station’s official launch at DSM Training, 170 High Street, Bromley from 4pm to 6pm on March 26. Bromley Mayor Julian Benington will be one of the guests.
