Residents now have access to a new library after it opened its doors last week.

The library replaces existing facilities in Penge and at Anerley Town Hall and is offering community space, a additional computers and a wide selection of books.

“This new library underlines our commitment to investing in modern facilities for residents. The library’s move to larger premises in the town centre will increase accessibly for users and enhance footfall to the heart of the town, benefitting local businesses. There is community space available alongside a wide selection of books, computers and access to Council services all in one place,” said Cllr Peter Morgan, executive councillor for renewal and recreation.
