A FREE neutering service is being offered to owners of Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Staff cross-breeds.

The offer is open to anyone owning the breed living in the RSPCA Bromley and District Branch and RSPCA Croydon, Crystal Palace & District Branch regardless of the owner's income.

An RSPCA spokesman said: "We are endeavouring to combat the high number of unwanted Staffordshire Bull Terriers filling re-homing centres of all organisations, with more on waiting lists."

The offer is limited to three dogs or bitches aged six months or over per household on applications received up until September 30. For more information, call RSPCA Bromley & District Branch on 020 8462 4305 or 020 8462165 between 10am and 5pm and RSPCA Croydon, Crystal Palace & District Branch on 020 8771 9040.
