RESIDENTS who share the same name as Hollywood icons have been chosen to be the face of a new shopping centre.
Elizabeth Taylor, 38, from Penge, has joined a Roger Moore and Jennifer Lopez in an advertising campaign for Cardinal Place in Victoria Street, Victoria.
The business development manager got involved after a friend spotted an advert requesting celebrity namesakes in a newspaper. The advertising campaign, which will run until next year, will include posters for direct mail drops as well as adverts in the brochure for the musical Wicked. Adverts have also been placed in both the musical's programme and West End Live brochures.
She said: "I work as a Business Development Manager for Advance Cleaning Services and people often get a shock when I call them to discuss their cleaning contract. I'm lucky to have such a well liked namesake, so thought why not put it to good use - I never thought one day I'd be in room with 'Roger Moore' and 'Jennifer Lopez'.
"I really enjoyed being pampered ahead of the photo shoot - I'm thoroughly enjoying my new celebrity status and can't wait to see myself on all the billboards.
"I'm hoping to get recognised when I pop out to the shops.
