TWO teenagers have pleaded not guilty to murdering a schoolboy last year.

Unemployed Royston Thomas, 18, of Hazel Grove, Sydenham, and Mitchell Elliot, 18, of Howerd Way, Plumstead, appeared at the Old Bailey last Tuesday accused of the murder of Ben Hitchcock in Beckenham.

Mr Hitchcock of Blean Grove, Penge, died after being stabbed during a fight in Southend Road, on June 23 last year.

Both Thomas and Mitchell were remanded in custody until their trial on May 26 next year.
