Monthly rents go up by more than 8 per cent in Bromley according to survey

Average asking rents in Bromley increased by more than 8 per cent last year, according to a survey.

The Move with Us Rental Index showed that average monthly rents jumped to £1,299 in the 12 months up to November – an 8.37 per cent rise.

It marked the fifth fastest rise in asking prices for London boroughs, with landlords faring even better in Bexley which had the second fastest rise (10.4 per cent).

The City of London saw the highest percentage increase – rents went up by 24.3 per cent to £3,360.
