One in seven suffering sleepless nights

People in Bromley and Bexley are being kept awake at night by money worries, according to a study into individual finances released today.

A study by company revealed that a lack of savings is stressing people out, with a quarter of those who responded saying it was their biggest financial worry. and nearly one in seven people lying awake at night over money worries.

Almost two-thirds of respondents (61 per cent) said that they didn’t have the recommended safety net of three months’ salary saved, while just half said they have a stash put away for a rainy day.

Just 43 per cent of people put any money away each month, while almost as many admitted to buying things they could not afford or would later regret.
