Dust of your parka, fix your top button and ride your Lambretta down to Chislehurst next week for a night of music dedicated to Mods.

Singer-songwriter Johnny Warman has worked alongside greats such as Ringo Starr, Peter Gabriel and Asia, but is now bringing his new band Magic Bus to The Beaverwood Club, in Beaverwood Road, on September 26.

Joining Johnny is drummer Jeff Rich, formerly of Status Quo, as well as Andy Neve on keys, Marcus Flynn on guitar and bassist Steve Tilling.

The band will cover tracks from 1964 to 1970, including the work of the Rolling Stones, The Small Faces, The Zombie, The Kinks and The Who.

Tickets cost £10 in advance, or £12 on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm.
