MISSING: Man missing from Beckenham psychiatric hospital ‘may try to harm himself’

Bromley detectives are searching for a man in his twenties who went missing from a psychiatric hospital in Beckenham last week.

Idris Mohammad, 24, was on escorted leave when he went missing from Bethlem Hospital, Beckenham.

He was last seen at around 5pm on Friday, July 1, at Wickham Road near the junction of Monks Orchard Road.

Officers are concerned Mr Mohammad’s welfare.

A spokesperson from Met Police said: “There is a likelihood that he may try to harm himself.

“Anyone with any information to the whereabouts of Idris Mohammad is asked to contact Bromley CID on 07818 454470 quoting reference 16MIS028233.

He is described as a white male with tanned skin. He has black hair and was wearing a long sleeved top, beige trousers and brown trainers.
