THE London Assembly members who will serve on the Metropolitan Police Authority have been announced. Greenwich and Lewisham Labour member Len Duvall, who was reappointed for a second term, was appointed chair of the authority on Monday, May 12. Newly-elected Bromley and Greenwich Assembly member James Cleverly was also appointed to serve on the authority. The new appointments will run until September 30.

Boris Johnson has pledged to chair the Authority himself and will take over the role from Mr Duvall.
