Mental health patient absconds from hospital in Anerley

Police are tracing a man after he absconded from a mental health unit in Bromley.

Henry Agyekum, 35, was last seen at 9:00am on 24 August after he had been attending the mental health facility in George Groves Road, SE20. He had been detained under a hospital order after a theft conviction.

Agyekum is a black man, approximately 5ft 8inches tall and of slim build. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue t-shirt and blue trainers.

He is known to frequent areas of central London including Soho, Camden, Charing Cross and Euston station.

Agyekum is not considered a risk to the public and anyone who has seen him, or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Bromley Police on 101.
