Police made two arrests

Police made two arrests after reports of a group of men armed with pieces of wood, fighting in Sandringham Road this week.

Officers were called at around 1.50am on Wednesday to the residential road, where they arrested two men, aged 20 and 21 on suspicion of affray and being in possession of an offensive weapon.

The 21-year-old was released with no further action.

Two other suspects escaped the scene with officers failing to trace them.

The 20-year-old man has been bailed to return to a police station in mid June.

Detectives from Bromley CID are investigating.
