A man who crashed his Porsche 911 into a wall in Masons Hill on Saturday has been named as Glenn Lister.

Mr Lister, 45, of Bromley, was found by traffic police on patrol at around 3.10am near the junction of Homesdale Road.

After seeing a car had collided with a wall, witnesses told officers the driver had left his car and climbed over the wall.

Officers found Mr Lister collapsed near the scene. The London Ambulance Service arrived soon after, but the man was pronounced dead a short while later.

A post-mortem examination on September 3 gave the cause of death as internal injuries to the heart, liver and stomach sustained from a collision.

Traffic police are now appealing for witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information should contact The Road Death Investigation Unit at Catford Traffic Garage on 020 8285 1574.
