A man has been charged following the brutal attack on a man outside a bar in Masons Hill earlier this month.

Peter Reeves, 34, of no fixed address, was charged with GBH yesterday and will appear at Bromley Magistrates Court this morning.

Police were called to Bedrock Bar at around 1.40am on September 8, after a man was discovered with a broken jaw and head injuries.

The 40-year-old was taken to a south London hospital in a serious condition. His injuries remained life threatening for around 10 days.

Detectives from Bromley CID launched an investigation into the attack and arrested Reeves on Friday in Maidstone, Kent.
