A man accused of sexually attacking a 12-year-old girl in a Bromley park while wearing a ‘granny-style’ wig has pleaded not guilty.

Kenneth Buffogne, 43, of Woolstone Road, Sydenham is charged with sexual assault on a female, and entered his plea at Croydon Crown Court this morning. He will now stand trial before a jury on June 26.

He is alleged to have assaulted the girl, who had been playing with a friend in Shaftesbury Park, Downham, while wearing a disguise including a wig, fake mole and a walking stick on February 24. Buffogne was arrested at his home on March 7.
