Man knifed in fight

A STAB victim is recovering in hospital after a number of people were involved in a fight.

Police were called to Sandpit Road, Downham, last Saturday at around 11.40pm to reports of a disturbance and people hitting each other.

The 19-year-old man was stabbed once and was taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Officers have arrested six people so far- four teenage boys, aged 15, 16, 17, 18 as well as a 24-year-old man and 17-year-old girl.
