A 23-year-old man has been jailed after he ransacked a Bromley home before setting it on fire.

Jack Turner, of no fixed address, was sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to burglary and arson at Croydon Crown Court last month.

The owners of a house in Burnt Ash Lane returned home in the summer to find their property had been broken into also found a large burn mark in the middle of their carpet.

Turner was arrested after his blood and a fingerprint were found at the scene.
