A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after suffering head injuries when he was hit by a car on Wednesday (2) morning.

Police were called to the scene at around 9.35am after a collision was reported in Sidcup Road, Eltham.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) sent one ambulance crew and a single responder in a car to the scene after they were called to reports of a road traffic collision at 9.34am.

The man was taken to Kings College Hospital as a priority by LAS after he was treated for abdomen injuries at the scene.

A police spokesman said no arrests were made.
