The incident happened earlier this morning

A man has died after reportedly falling from a ladder in Penge earlier today (Friday).

Paramedics were called to the scene on St John’s Road near Penge East station to treat the patient, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

London Ambulance Service called Met Police officers to the scene at 8.25am, and London Air Ambulance also attended.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and the coroner has been notified.
