A 42-YEAR-OLD man has pleaded not guilty to a spate of knife robberies.

Mark Meachen of Kelso Court, Anerley Park, Penge, is charged with four counts of robbery and four counts of possessing an offensive weapon.

He appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on Monday and was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Croydon Crown Court on September 14.
