Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of Danny Pearce have charged a man with murder.
Jordan Bailey-Mascoll, 25, of The Brent, Dartford, was arrested on Thursday, November 30 and charged the following day on suspicion of murdering the 31-year-old.
He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, December 2.
A 21-year-old man also arrested in connection with Danny’s death remains released under investigation.
Keen footballer Danny, of Bromley, was walking back to a car in King William Walk, Greenwich, after leaving Oliver’s Jazz Club, on Saturday, July 15, when the incident happened.
The father-of-one’s mother Jan Pearce, 63, spoke out last month for the first time since her son’s death. She said: “Danny left behind a family who loved him unconditionally, including two sisters and a brother. But it is not only us as adults suffering – Danny’s nieces and nephews are grieving. How do you answer a child when they ask where uncle Danny is?”
