Man, 25, charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and other offences

A 25-year-old man from Beckenham has been charged with offences including possession of a prohibited weapon.

Ashley Ross, of Blandford Road, appeared in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.

He is also accused of possessing a firearm when prohibited for life and possessing expanded ammunition, ammunition without a certificate and cannabis.

Ross has been remanded in custody and he will next appear at the court on December 5.

During a police operation yesterday, officers executed a search warrant at a Blandford Road address.
