The gardens in St Christopher’s hospice in Sydenham are set to be transformed into the fantasy world of Alice in Wonderland this weekend.

On Saturday, June 25, colourful characters will be strolling through the grounds as the charity hosts a fundraising fair.

Fundraiser at the hospice, Sarah Rutherford, said: “This is our first Mad Hatter’s fair and we’ve had so much fun getting everything ready.

“We’re lucky to have such an idyllic setting for the hospice to create a magical world for the day, and we can’t wait to share it with all our amazing supporters.”

Visitors who come to the fair dressed as characters from the story will be entered into a prize draw to win some exciting prizes.

Entrance is £1 for adults and children free.

The fair runs from 11am to 4pm.
