THE father of a knife murder victim has said he was sickened after pictures of his son s autopsy were being offered to journalists for £10,000.
THE father of a knife murder victim has said he was "sickened" after pictures of his son's autopsy were being offered to journalists for £10,000.
Charaf Elmoudden, 20, from Barnet, was sentenced last Thursday to 15 months in jail after he was charged under the Obscene Publications Act with trying to sell pictures of murdered teenager Robert Knox, a former pupil at D&B School of Performing Arts in Bromley.
The images of the post mortem of the murdered body were taken in the morgue shortly after he was stabbed to death outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup in May 2008.
Mr Knox's father, Colin Knox, of Greenhithe, told the Times: "I can't believe that he was selling the images for £10,000.
"It's just beyond me that someone could do that for money, it's despicable. It absolutely sickens me to think that someone has thought this thing up, it just makes me think he's such a low-life to do this."
"I wanted justice to be done after what he did and I think he deserves the sentence."
Robert Knox, of Maidstone Road, Swanley, was stabbed to death as he attempted to defend his brother in a fight outside the Metro Bar in Sidcup on May 24, 2008.
Eighteen-year-old Mr Knox was an aspiring actor and had a role in the film Harry Potter and the Half- Blood Prince which he had shortly finished filming before he was killed.
During the initial court case at the Old Bailey where Knox's killer, Karl Bishop, was found guilty and jailed for life, images of the post mortem were shown.
Mr Knox added: "I didn't want to see them then. I know how he died. I know what happened to my son. I don't need to see the pictures of it."
Police said Elmoudden never revealed how he got the photos.
