OLDER women are being sought for a drama production about first loves.
Senior volunteers are invited to take part in Bromley in Love, a reminiscence and drama project at The Churchill theatre.
Hourglass, an all-female theatre company, has been commissioned to work with the women and deliver a series of reminiscence workshops, focussing on love and first dates.
Participants will complete a course for six weeks and then join a group of young women for five more weekly two-hour drama and movement sessions to share stories and devise a piece together, which will be performed in July.
Creative development manager, Liam Shea, said: "There is often a gulf in understanding between seniors and young people and we hope to go some way in addressing that through this cross-generational project. This initiative is also a chance for the women to develop creatively and experience the fun of drama and performance."
Bromley in Love is free to take part and suitable for women who are interested in drama, dance, writing or performance. Sessions will take place on a Tuesday morning at the theatre.
