Lord Harris to visit ex-student’s groundbreaking company

The firm includes a cluster of pupils who formerly attended Harris Academy

A group of former Harris Academy students who have made it big in the technology sector will be visited by the school’s founder tomorrow.

Mark Henderson, from Beckenham, started a business that manufactures life saving hospital equipment, and which produced the world’s first intelligent, software-based centrifuge.

His Sydenham-based company, MSE, employs 23 people and exports machines to 40 countries across the world.

The cluster of ex-students at the firm includes managing director Alex Henderson, administration assistant Olivia Henderson, technical manager Nev Anilkumar, and heat sealer engineer James McCauley.

Lord Harris will visit the company, which is located at 57 Kangley Bridge Road, Lower Sydenham, at 10am tomorrow (Tuesday).
